Keegan Electric

In 2004, Kristin Keegan and her husband, Frank, founded Keegan Electric Company, Inc., after both had gained valuable experience in the electrical industry.

The company's first office was the family home, and its first project was a remodel and new addition at the Burgettstown Library. The total contract was $35,000, and Kristin worked as a sub for Wrangler Enterprise, Inc.

Frank, who has more than 20 years of experience working and managing electrical projects and employees, was the company's first employee.

As the company grew, other projects included the Med Express and the Waffle House, both in Washington, Pa.

Now, Keegan Electric has grown to 20 employees and has moved into a new larger location, which was purchased in 2006.

Keegan Electric's largest project to date has been a $960,000 contract for the Pittsburgh International Airport.
